Our next trip to Hat Yai and Penang (^*^)

Get prepared for shopping and food trip.... Hat Yai and Penang in December 5 -7, 2010.

Things to do :

1. Book accommodation in Hat Yai. We booked Kosit Hotel thru website and they replied us thru email Kosit Hotel's email. The room rate is Bath 590 nett (room only)

2. Book accommodation in Penang. Comparing with other budget hotel, we decided to book Tune Hotel in Penang. This is a new hotel and based our experience in KL and Kota Damansara, the room is clean and comfortable eventhough a bit small. The room rate is RM 80,38 (12 hrs Air Con and Admin Fee included)

3. Check procedures for driving from Malaysia into Hat Yai.  We will need the vehicle registration book, insurance document for the car that includes cover for Thailand.

Our Itinerary :

05 Dec : Depart from KL to Hat Yai at 8 am. Refer to this link : driving from KL to Hat Yai), it's about 7 hours journey. Thailand is one hour behind KL, probably we arrive in Hat Yai at 2 pm. Check in hotel and then visit the local floating market, called Khong Hae floating market or Klonghae floating market. It's similar with floating market in Bangkok, but this one they only sell food.  Shopping and Makan Time! At night, planning to have Thai Massage! No trip to Thailand would be complete without Thai Massage.

06 Dec : Breakfast, wake up earlier and go for Shopping at Nora Market, Kimyong Market or Suntisuk Market. Head to Penang after lunch. Check in Tune Hotel Penang and culinary trip around Penang.

07 Dec : No many activities this day, my flight from KL to Jakarta will be at 8 pm. I should arrive LCCT at least one hour before. For sure, we will have last culinary session in Penang.
