Mr. Starfish's colleague is a local there. He helped us to book a room in Cameron Highlands. The room rate is about RM 70 to RM 100 (sorry I forgot the room rates). It was a simple room without air con. But believe me, you won't need air con in this area, especially night time.
Our first visit was Rose Center. We were greeted apart from roses, they also showcase other flowers like lily, lady shoe, and many more.
After Rose Center visit, we felt hungry and we had steamboat for dinner. Good choice for this weather condition... One set was about RM 30 for two person. The portion was big enough for two of us.
During night time, we visited night market and then stopped by in Starbucks Cafe for Ice blended green tea and playing games... for your information, I won the games! ha ha ha ha \\(^_^)//
We woke up early in the morning and met Mr. Starfish's colleague. He accompanied us to visit BOH Tea Centre. A must visit when you are in Cameron Highlands. In this new modern tea centre, you will know enough about the world of tea making, processes and its making.
The best part of BOH Tea Centre definitely goes to the tea cafe. This juts out from the hill into the open air. The view is absolutely beautiful and wonderful. You can enjoy a big selection of teas while soaking in the relaxing atmosphere.
After an afternoon cup of tea, we continued our trip to Big Red Strawberry Farm. There are many strawberry farm in Cameron Highlands. Its weather is suitable to grow strawberries, therefore many strawberry farms are seen in Cameron Highlands.
Another culinary visit, in this Big Red Strawberry Farm, we ordered one cup of strawberry ice cream, one cup of strawberry yogurt and one slice of strawberry cake. It costs us about RM 20,-. The strawberry was really fresh! In this shop, we found many ranges of strawberry products.
Before we went back to KL, we stopped by in Cactus Valley. It is newly built tourist attraction with numerous types of cactus. If I'm not mistaken, the entrance fee was about RM 4 per person for adult. It was also our wonderful experience in our Cameron Highlands trip.
We drove back and passed by Genting Highlands.
